How The Process Works

Qualified applicants as outlined in our mission statement will need to obtain and complete an application form from the Family Program Office at the NY National Guard Joint Force Headquarters or one of its regional offices.

Serving members of the Organized Militia can be assisted through their unit administrative office. Completed forms will be submitted to the Family Program Office and then provided to the Society’s review committee. Following review, a representative of the Society will contact the applicant to advise of approval or decline of approval with an explanation for this decision. In some cases, additional information may be needed before a formal decision can be made.
