What We Do

The Society’s mission is to maintain sufficient funds and grant emergency financial relief to current and retired members, and their immediate family members following the death of a qualified member of the Organized Militia of the State of New York under established Society rules and regulations. Qualified applicants are eligible for a grant of up to $2,500 once in a lifetime. Grants are provided to serving and retired members or their families under financial hardship stemming from a serious mishap or crisis. This usually comes from an accident, illness, natural disaster, or following a mobilization and deployment.
